The Management Board of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A. (Company) hereby announces that on 5 January 2010 it received a notification under Article 160 of the Act on Trading in Financial Instruments of 29 July 2005 from Mr Janusz Chmielewski, the member of theManagement Board.

The notification concerns Mr Janusz Chmielewski’s sale of 871 shares of Lubelski WęgielBogdanka S.A. on 31 December 2009, at a price of PLN 72 per share.

The sale transaction was effected at a regular trading session at the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
