The Management Board of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A. (the “Company”) hereby informs you that on 9 May 2017 it decided to publish the preliminary financial results for the first quarter 2017 (Q1 2017) which are as follows:

Separate financial results of LW Bogdanka S.A. for Q1 2017:
- Net revenue on sales: PLN 463,360,000
- EBITDA: PLN 172,431,000
- EBIT: PLN 84,472,000
- Net profit: PLN 64,100,000.

Consolidated financial results of the LW Bogdanka Group for Q1 2017:
- Net revenue on sales: PLN 465,166,000
- EBITDA: PLN 179,820,000
- EBIT: PLN 89,743,000
- Net profit: PLN 68,179,000.

In the period under analysis no one-off events, which would have a material impact on the presented results, occurred.

The results in their final version will be presented in the Consolidated Quarterly Report of the LW Bogdanka Group for the first quarter of 2017, to be published on 25 May 2017.
