The Management Board of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A. (the Issuer) hereby announces that on August 3, 2009, under Article 160 of the Act on Trading in Financial Instruments of July 29, 2005, it received a notification from Mr Henryk Koza.

The notification concerns Mr Henryk Koza’s sale of 2,068 shares of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A. on July 30, 2009, at a price of PLN 68.30 per share.

The sale transaction was effected at a regular trading session at the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

The Company was obliged to notify about the transaction as Mr Henryk Koza, as the Issuer’s Proxy, has access to the confidential information.
