The Management Board of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A. (the “Company”) announces that on 17 October 2022 it was informed of the preliminary financial results of the LW Bogdanka Group for three quarters of 2022 (Q1-Q3 2022) and decided to make them public:
Consolidated financial results of the LW Bogdanka Group for Q1-Q3 2022:

Net revenue from sales: PLN 2,030.1 million
EBITDA: PLN 676.4 million  
EBIT: PLN 374.0 million
Net profit: PLN 310.3 million

The production of commercial coal in the period under discussion amounted to
7.16 million tonnes, and sales – 7.16 million tonnes.
Due to sudden and unpredictable difficulties in mining in the 3/VII/385 longwall in the third quarter of this year, which objectively could not be prevented or counteracted, the Company decided to update the production plan for 2022, setting it at approx. 8.3 million tons of commercial coal, as announced in current report No. 19/2022 of 14 September 2022 and maintains this goal.
In the period under analysis, there were no other instances of one-off events that would have a material impact on the presented results.

The results in their final version will be presented in detail in the Consolidated Quarterly Report of the LW Bogdanka Group for the third quarter of 2022, to be published on 23 November 2022.
