The Management Board of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A. (“Company”) hereby reports that on 16 July 2024 it became aware of the preliminary financial results of the LW Bogdanka Group for H1 2024 and decided to make them public:

Consolidated financial results of the LW Bogdanka Group for H1 2024:

Net sales revenue: PLN 1,670.6 million
EBITDA: PLN 262.7 million
EBIT: PLN  42.2 million
Net profit: PLN 43.1 million

Commercial coal output in the period under review was 3.50 million tons, while sales were 3.63 million tons.

At the same time, we would like to inform that due to the identification of indications indicating the possibility of permanent impairment of property, plant and equipment, the Company is in the process of updating the impairment test, therefore the preliminary results for the first half of 2024 given above may change.

The final results will be presented in detail in LW Bogdanka Group's interim condensed consolidated financial statements for H1 2024, scheduled for publication on 18 September 2024.
