The Management Board of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A. (the “Company”) hereby informs you that on 17 October 2018 it decided to publish the preliminary financial results for the three quarters 2018 (Q1-Q3 2018) which are as follows:
Separate financial results of LW Bogdanka S.A. for Q1-Q3 2018:
Net revenue on sales: PLN 1,334,261,000
EBITDA: PLN 388,446,000
EBIT: PLN 88,410,000
Net profit: PLN 74,129,000
The production of commercial coal in the period under discussion amounted to 6,820,000 tonnes, and sales – 6,788,000 tonnes.
In the third quarter there were no one-off events which would have a material impact on the presented results.
The Company sustains its declared production plan for the whole 2018 at a level not lower than 9 million tonnes.
The Management Board treats the above information as significant given the need to inform the market on progress in realising the declared production level for 2018 in the context of the fact that the Company’s results achieved in the first quarter of 2018 were lower than expected.
The results in their final version will be presented in the financial statements of LW Bogdanka Group for Q1-Q3 2018, to be published on 23 November 2018.
