Subject: Expiration of mandate of the Management Board’s member elected by employees

The Management Board of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A. with registered office in Bogdanka (the “Company”) hereby announces that on 10 June 2010, i.e. as of the day of the Annual General Shareholders Meeting, the mandate of Mr Janusz Chmielewski, the Management Board’s member elected by the employees, expired in connection with expiration of the 4th term of office of the Management Board (under Art. 25.9 of the Articles of Association of LW Bogdanka S.A.).

The appointment of a new Management Board’s member, elected by employees, by the Supervisory Board will be notified by the Company in a separate current report.

Legal basis for submitting the report: Article 5.1.21 of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance on the Stock Exchange
