The Management Board of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A. announces that on 20 January 2021 it was informed of the Group’s preliminary financial results for the year 2020 (Y2020) and decided to make them public.


Consolidated financial results of the LW Bogdanka Group for 2020:



Net revenue from sales: PLN 1,822,112
EBITDA: PLN 461,962
EBIT: PLN 91,036
Net profit: PLN 66,506



The production of commercial coal in Y2020 amounted to 7,612,000 tonnes and sales – 7,670,000 tonnes.



The results of Q4 were influenced, for instance, by settlement of the financial support granted by the Provincial Labour Office in Lublin announced by the Company in Current Report No. 27/2020 of 6 October 2020. Other one-off events which took place in the previous reporting periods were communicated by the Company in Current Report No. 29/2020 of 14 October 2020.


The final results will be presented in the financial statements of LW Bogdanka S.A. and the consolidated financial statements of the LW Bogdanka Group for 2020.
