The Management Board of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A. (the Company) announces that on 24 January 2025 it received information about the decision of the insurer Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń Wzajemnych Polski Zakład Ubezpieczeń Wzajemnych (TUW PZUW) to award and pay compensation for damage to underground assets resulting from a wall accident 3/VII/385 of February 2023 (damage caused by groundwater flooding). The amount of compensation awarded was PLN 144.85 million.

The Company reported on wall accidents 3/VII/385 in press releases and the current report No. 8/2023 of 18 April 2023.

The Board of Directors considers the above information to be important, as the compensation received will positively impact the results of Q1 2025.
