The Management Board of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A. (“Company”) hereby reports that on 18 July 2023 it became aware of the preliminary financial results of the LW Bogdanka Group for H1 2023 and decided to make them public:

Consolidated financial results of the LW Bogdanka Group for H1 2023:
Net sales revenue: PLN 1,825.1 million
EBITDA: PLN 532.8 million
EBIT: PLN 274.9 million
Net profit: PLN 225.8 million
Commercial coal output in the period under review was 3.27 million tons, while sales were 3.06 million tons.

The above estimated H1 results were also affected by an impairment loss of PLN 48.5 million (of which PLN 26.8 million was written off in Q1 2023), recognized in connection with the potential risk of losing some of the machinery and equipment located in longwall 3/VII/385, as well as some of the galleries by to this longwall.  
The final results will be presented in detail in LW Bogdanka Group's interim condensed consolidated financial statements for H1 2023, scheduled for publication on 13 September 2023.
