The Management Board of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A. (the “Company”) hereby informs you that on 4 May 2016 it decided to publish the preliminary financial results for the first quarter 2016 (Q1 2016) which are as follows:

Separate financial results of LW Bogdanka S.A. for Q1 2016:
- Net revenue on sales: PLN 419,363 million
- EBITDA: PLN 166,943 million
- EBIT: PLN 75,033 million
- Net profit: PLN 51,397 million

Consolidated financial results of the LW BOGDANKA Group for Q1 2016:
- Net revenue on sales – PLN 420,569 million
- EBITDA: PLN 173,345 million
- EBIT: PLN 78,885 million
- Net profit: PLN 54,446 million

In the period under analysis no one-off events, which would have a material impact on the presented results, occurred.

The results in their final version will be presented in the Consolidated Quarterly Report of the LW Bogdanka Group for the first quarter of 2016, to be published on 16 May 2016.
