In connection with Current Report No. 25/2020 of 29 September 2020, the Management Board of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A. (the ”Company”) wishes to announce that on 6 October 2020 the Company was informed that it had been granted financial support from the Guaranteed Employee Benefits Fund by the Provincial Labour Office in Lublin in order to protect jobs.


In line with its application, the Company was granted PLN 33.7 million pursuant to the provisions of the so-called Anti-Crisis Shield 4.0 relief package (aid from the Guaranteed Employee Benefits Fund pursuant to Article 15gg of the Act of 2 March 2020 on Special Solutions Related to Preventing, Counteracting and Fighting COVID-19 and Other Infectious Diseases, and the Situations Caused by Them).


The funds will be paid in three parts over three months, and are to cover a portion of employee wages and social security contributions for the period from September to November 2020.


The money received needs to be accounted for within 30 days from the day of receiving the last instalment to determine the final amount of financial support.
