The Management Board of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A. (the “Company”) announces that on 15 July 2019 it was informed of the Company’s preliminary financial results for the year H1 2019 and decided to make it public:
Consolidated financial results of the LW BOGDANKA Group for H1 2019:
Net revenue from sales: PLN 1,098.3 million
EBITDA: PLN 421.8 million
EBIT: PLN 229.2 million
Net profit: PLN 187.7 million
The production of commercial coal in the period under discussion amounted to 4.83 million tonnes, and sales – 4.77 million tonnes.
In the second quarter there were no one-off events which would have a material impact on the presented results. Events which had an impact on the results from the first quarter were announced by the Company in Current Report No. 6/2019 of 24 April 2019.
The final results will be presented in detail in the Consolidated Interim Report of the LW Bogdanka Group for the first half of 2019, which is to be published on 30 August 2019.
